All travelers are required to declare any food, plants, seeds, or animal products upon arrival. Failure to declare such items may result in fines and/or confiscation. - Classic Room: USD 130 + VAT per night
- Premium Room: USD 160 + VAT per night

- Early check-in / late check-out: charged at 100% of the nightly rate

- Participants may extend their stay at the preferential rate up to 2 days before or after the official conference dates (subject to availability).

VAT Exemption for Foreign Guests
In accordance with Chilean tax law, foreign visitors who are not residents in Chile are exempt from the 19% VAT on hotel accommodations when paying in foreign currency or with an international credit card. To qualify for the exemption, guests must present both their passport and the PDI entry card (Tarjeta Única Migratoria) received from the Policía de Investigaciones de Chile (PDI) — the Chilean immigration authority — upon arrival at the border or airport.

1. Walk to Tobalaba Metro Station (Line 1)
- Exit the hotel and walk approximately 800 meters (11 minutes)
- Head toward the intersection of Av. Apoquindo and Av. Tobalaba
2. Take Metro Line 1 – Direction San Pablo (Westbound)
- Board the Red Line toward San Pablo
- Ride for 6 stops (approx. 8 minutes):
Los Leones → Pedro de Valdivia → Manuel Montt → Salvador → Baquedano → Universidad Católica
3. Exit at Universidad Católica Station
- Follow signs to Salida Sur / South Exit
- Do not exit via Av. Portugal
4. Walk to UC Centro de Extensión Alameda
- Walk west along Alameda (approx. 220 meters / 3 minutes)
- The entrance is located at Av. Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins 340
Total journey time: 25–30 minutes
Metro fare: A rechargeable Tarjeta Bip! card is required to use the Santiago Metro. It can be purchased at any metro station for approximately USD 1.50 (in Chilean pesos). Each metro trip costs around USD 1.00, depending on the time of day.
