Connecting Minds, Powering Change and the Future of World Energy Systems
Chile in July offers a unique winter backdrop for exploration, blending world-class Andes ski resorts, renowned wine valleys, and cultural heritage with the stunning natural contrasts of the Atacama Desert and Patagonian landscapes. Whether enjoying the vibrant arts and gastronomy of Santiago, relaxing in the wine country, or extending your stay to experience Chile’s unmatched geographic diversity, IAEE 2026 provides the perfect opportunity to connect energy dialogue with the richness of South America’s southern cone.
Agricultural Product Restrictions
Chile enforces strict agricultural and biological import controls through its Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG). All travelers are required to declare any food, plants, seeds, or animal products upon arrival. Failure to declare such items may result in fines and/or confiscation. To avoid delays, please read the customs declaration carefully and follow the instructions provided by SAG officers at the airport or border control.
